HB Tórshavn beat newly crowned champions B36 Tórshavn with a last gasp winner. NSÍ Runavík beat ÍF Fuglafjørður to boo book their Europa League tickets with a better goal difference than EB/Streymur who miss out on Europe despite beating KÍ Klaksvík 2-0. Skála beat AB Argir to leapfrog B68 Toftir who end last in the table after defeat to Víkingur.

B36 Tórshavn overcome shock-start against B68 Toftir who take a first minute lead, but B36 turned it around and went in front in 1st half's injury time to go on to win 3-1 to claim the Faroese title with a round to spare.

B36 Tórshavn overcome shock-start against B68 Toftir who take a first minute lead, but B36 turned it around and took the lead in 1st half’s injury time and go on to win 3-1 to claim the Faroese title with a round to spare.

Leaders B36 Tórshavn on the verge of losing for third time in succession come from two goals down to beat NSÍ Runavík 3-2 to stay four points in front of HB Tórshavn who beat Skála without impressing. In-form Víkingur comfortably beat EB/Streymur. B68 Toftir are still breathing as they beat KÍ Klaksvík to give them the chance to cut the gap on AB Argir to only 3 points if they beat AB in the next round, as AB lost 3-0 to ÍF Fuglafjørður today.

B36 Tórshavn lose at home for the second time in succession as they are downed by Víkingur but stay 4 points clear at the top of the table as HB Tórshavn fail to take advantage as they are defeated by KÍ Klaksvík. B68 win their first away match of the season as they come from behind against ÍF Fuglafjørður. EB/Streymur comfortably beat Skála to hold on to their Europa League place with a comfortable win over Skála but could lose it to NSÍ Runavík on Wednesday if they beat Víkingur after winning 3-1 over AB Argir today.

August 20, 2014: Round 20 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
The gap remains 7 points at the top as B36 Tórstavn beat AB Argir while HB Tórshavn beat ÍF Fuglafjørður. Víkingur draw for the 5th time in succession after 1-1 against KÍ Klaksvík. EB/Streymur close in on Víkingur in 3rd place after 3-0 over B68 Toftir. Also NSÍ Runavík is approaching after victory over Skála.

Without impressing, B36 Tórshavn do the expected against lowly Skála. HB Tórshavn easily beat tame EB/Streymur. Víkingur come from two goals down to salvage a point against AB Argir. B68 Toftir’s relegation is a mere formality as they are beaten 3-1 by NSÍ Runavík. Turmoil in draw between ÍF Fuglafjørður and KÍ Klaksvík.

It looked encouraging for Víkingur when Hallur Hansson equalized after 35 minutes, but the half-time march to the dressing room became less enjoyable when Rijeka scored in added time and went on to score another three in the second half to win 5-1 on the night (

B36 Tórshavn score twice in the space of a minute as they beat KÍ Klaksvík 2-1 to stay 7 points clear at the top of the table with 11 rounds remaining. HB Tórshavn hammer B68 Toftir by 6-0. June 21 & 22, 2014: Round 14 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":HB Tórshavn with their back against the wall fight their way back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 against B36 Tórshavn and stay in the title race, although trailing 5 points. KÍ Klaksvík beat EB/Streymur at home for the first time since 2003. Víkingur win their 6th out of 7 games as they beat B68 Toftir who drop a point below the relegation- line as they are leapfrogged by AB Argir who are held to 0-0 away to Skála. NSÍ Runavík and ÍF Fuglafjørður draw.
June 18, 2014: The Cup Competition (Løgmanssteypið)
HB Tórshavn beat B68 Toftir 1-0 to reach their first cup final since 2007. Back to back cup winners, Víkingur, have qualified for their third successive final despite losing 2-0 against EB/Streymur who will miss their first cup final since 2006.
June 15 & 16, 2014: Round 13 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":AB Argir rescue a point in injury time against KÍ Klaksvík with disputed goal - or "no goal"? HB Tórshavn snatch late dramatic winner against NSÍ Runavík to stay in contention with B36 Tórshavn who in the end comfortably beat B68 Toftir who rue missed sitters. ÍF Fuglafjørður win for the first time in 8 games as they come from behind to beat EB/Streymur. Víkingur put five past Skála.
June 09, 2014: Round 12 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":EB/Streymur come from behind to beat 10-men HB Tórshavn who lose for the first time this season and drop five points behind leaders B36 Tórshavn who beat struggling Skála. NSÍ Runavík overcome neighbours B68 Toftír. Víkingur comfortably beat AB Argir. KÍ Klaksvík win for the first time in six games as they emphatically beat ÍF Fuglafjørður who haven’t won in 7 games in succession.

B68 Toftir rue missed opportunities after narrow defeat to HB Tórshavn in the first leg of the simi-finals of the cup competition.
May 31 & June 01, 2014: Round 11 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":B36 Tórshavn are held by bottom team AB Argir but stay two points clear at the top as HB Tórshavn likewise are held by ÍF Fuglafjørður. NSÍ add 6 goals to their 7 from last week as they hammer Skála. EB/Streymur comfortably beat B68 Toftir. Víkingur keep their cool to beat KÍ Klaksvík 4-2.
May 25 & 26, 2014: Round 10 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
B68 Toftir and ÍF Fuglafjørður cancel each other out with late goals. B36 Tórshavn stay two points clear of HB Tórshavn as both win narrow victories against Víkingur and KÍ Klaksvík, respectively. NSÍ Runavík demolish AB Argir 7-0. Another point for Skála who draw 1-1 with EB/Streymur.
May 21, 2014: The Cup Competition (Løgmanssteypið)
Víkingur all but secure their ticket for the cup final with a 4-1 victory over EB/Streymur who are on the verge of missing their first cup final since 2006.

B36 Tórshavn and HB Tórshavn still unbeaten after wins over KÍ Klaksvík and B68 Toftir, respectively. EB/Streymur demolish AB Argir who drop to last in the table as they are overtaken by Skála who drew 2-2 with ÍF Fuglafjørður who equalized three minutes from the end of normal time. Víkingur beat NSÍ Runavík 3-0.

B36 Tórshavn stay 2 points ahead with a convincing win over EB/Streymur while second placed HB Tórshavn beat AB Argir. Víkingur and ÍF Fuglafjørður draw.

Cup holders Víkingur are safely through to the semi-finals as they beat KÍ Klaksvík 3-0. EB/Streymur come from three goals down to beat NSÍ Runavík 4-3 to qualify for their 9th semi-final in succession. HB Tórshavn comfortably beat AB Argir to qualify for the semi-finals. B68 Toftir vs ÍF Fuglafjørður is postponed.
April 21, 2014: Round 06 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
B36 Tórshavn thrash ÍF Fuglafjørður 5-1 to go two points clear at the summit of the table as HB Tórshavn are held to 2-2 draw against Víkingur. AB Argir in problems as they are beaten by B68 Toftir. Skála no whipping boys anymore although they still lose by a sole goal away to KÍ Klaksvík. First goalless match of the season as EB/Streymur and NSÍ Runavík draw.
April 17, 2014: Round 05 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn survive 2nd half pressure from NSÍ Runavík to win 4-1 in the end. Skála scrape up another point as they draw against Víkingur. ÍF score three goals in the last quarter of an hour to beat EB/Streymur 3-0. B36 Tórshavn beat 10-men B68 4-1. KÍ Klaksvík comfortably beat troubled AB Argir.
April 11 & 13, 2014: Round 04 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
Skála lose victory in stoppage time against AB Argir. NSÍ Runavík lose their 100% record as they are beaten by ÍF Fuglafjørður. EB/Streymur comfortably beat KÍ Klaksvík. Víkingur edge past B68 Toftir.

April 05 & 06, 2014: The Cup Competition (Løgmanssteypið)
Results and match reports from the first round of the cup competition: At 3-0 down, B36 looked dead and buried, but set up a grandstand finish as they scored two late goals and went close for the equalizer, but HB survived the scare to go through to the quarter-finals of the cup competition which they haven’t won since 2004.
It was post-out for 2nd tier TB Tvøroyri who lost on penalties against premier division team AB Argir. Arnbjørn Hansen returns from injury with a hat-trick for EB/Streymur. Víkingur comfortably beat Skála in the premier division encounter. Rest of results are according to rank, amongst them ÍF Fuglafjørður’s 14-1 victory over 3rd tier Undfrið FF where Brazilian striker Clayton Soares scored a "double" hat trick.
March 28 & 30, 2014: Round 03 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
NSÍ Runavík go two points clear at the top with an emphatic win over AB Argir. HB Tórshavn comfortably beat KÍ Klaksvík. As expected, EB/Streymur beat easily beat Skála who looked doomed already. ÍF get off the mark with a 3-0 victory over B68 Toftir.

Víkingur hit the woodwork three times but leave empty-handed as KÍ Klaksvík snatch a late win. NSÍ Runavík hammer Skála whose inexperience is exposed. B36 Tórshavn still with maximum points as they edge past AB Argir. HB Tórshavn come from behind to comfortably beat ÍF Fuglafjørður. B68 Toftir hold EB/Streymur to 1-1 draw.

Last season's runners up ÍF Fuglafjørður well beaten by KÍ Klaksvík who go to the top of the table. Narrow win for NSÍ Runavík over newly promoted B68 Toftir. Champions HB Tórshavn are held to 1-1 draw away to EB/Streymur. Víkingur are downed by AB Argir. B36 Tórshavn comfortably beat Skála.

After Romania had taken a 2-0 lead in the 56th minute, the Faroe Islands got their hope back when they pulled a goal back on a penalty just a couple of minutes later, but the hope lasted only for 8 minutes however, as Romania restored their two-goal cushion to win 3-1.
