August 02:
HB Tórshavn - TB Tvøroyri 2-2 (0-1)
0-1 Owngoal (Fróði Benjaminsen)
1-1 Fróði Benjaminsen
1-2 Teitur Justinussen
2-2 Owngoal (Teitur J. Olsen)
Although HB had the majority of possession in the first half, they rarely really threatened the TB goal. TB on the other hand were rare guests in the HB penalty area, but still managed to take the lead after 35 minutes from a HB owngoal following a corner that came back across goal where Fróði Benjaminsen steered the ball behind his own goalkeeper.
HB looked more threatening in the first quarter of an hour of the second half where Adrian Justinussen and Poul Ingason tested TB goalkeeper Ivan Stojkovic while Fróði Benjaminsen tested the crossbar.
The pressure eventually eased again, but 12 minutes from time HB finally managed to make an opportunity count when Christian R. Mouritsen’s through-ball released Ingason who rounded the goalkeeper, but as the angle became too tight, he turned right and then made a cross in front of goal where Benjaminsen headed home to repair the damage from the first half.
But the joy for HB quickly turned to despair as TB regained the lead four minutes later when left back Alex dos Santos and goalkeeper Teitur Gestsson made a meal of the situation and allowed Teitur Justinussen to steal the ball and fire it into the back of the net.
However, HB managed to get a last gasp equalizer from a corner where TB's Teitur J. Olsen was recorded for an owngoal. .
