July 6, 2005: The Cup Competition – semi-finals, first leg:

There is still everything to play for for B68 Toftir and ÍF Fuglafjørður, but íF will take 1-goal advantage into the second leg as they beat 2nd division side B68 Toftir 2-1 in the first leg of the Cup semi-final this evening.

GÍ Gøta virtually secured their place in the cup final by beating B71 Sandoy from the 2nd division by 5 goals to 1.

The second leg matches will be played on July 24, 2005.

The final will be played on National Day, “Ólavsøka”, July 29 in Tórsvøllur Stadium.
