Just a couple of news bits before we enter 2016:
NSÍ Runavík appoints Danish coach
NSÍ Runavík, with title hopes in 2016, took a long time to appoint a new coach but finally appointed one some 10 days ago. The new coach is 39-year-old Dane Anders Gerber who has been assistant coach at Silkeborg during the past five seasons.
Brandur Olsen on loan to Vendsyssel
Brandur Olsen of FC Copenhagen, who has struggled to make the team this season, has gone on loan to 1st division club Vendsyssel who are currently second in the table. There he’ll team up with compatriots Hallur Hansson, the team’s top scorer, and René S. Joensen as well as Meinhard Olsen, who Vendsyssel hope is one for the future.
